So it begins...

It all begun back in 1950. when couple of enthusiast surfers decided to find some alternative during the winter as the sea was to cold and dangerous to continue surfing. They decided to attach simple trucks with wheels on piece of wooden board and they named it long board. Popularity of long board and latter skateboard was growing rapidly over the years and in the 1966. Sherman Poppen marked first step in the evolution of snowboard. Sherman invented Snurfer, a piece of board with a piece of rope to hang on to while riding down the snowy slope.

From that moment until today, snowboard developed in basically all the fields. To some it represents a way of life combining unique dress code, music, recreation and social status and on the other hand snowboarding developed in respectful sport with 4 Olympic disciplines.
