Basic info

Once, small fisherman's town, today one of nicest tourist resorts in Istria. One of the first tourist that visited Rabac back in 1876. was English writer Richard Francis Burton and in 1907. Rabac hosted Austro-Hungarian Prince Ferdinand. Tourism in Rabac begins to grow in 1960s, when this little place because of its natural beauty gets the name "Pearl of Kvarner"

Rabac is one of few hidden gems in Adriatic. Unlike other tourist centers, Rabac is located in nice quiet bay without any big traffic roads passing through. Rocky coast and sea currents of the Kvarner Bay keep the constant cleanliness and transparency of the Rabac sea. Vicinity of Island Cres makes Rabac perfect starting point from where you can discover one of biggest islands in Adriatic together with all it's beauty
